I am Jimmy Cates, Purveyor of all things vintage.

   Some things in life just can't be explained. For me, it was why I am drawn to the days of the past. I guess I have an old soul. I have always appreciated the style of the cars, trailers and buildings. The workmanship that used to be prevalent along with the styling cues are almost long gone. I refuse to let them go. At my shop, attention to detail, styling and quality of materials are paramount.

When I was just a wee ladd, I took everything apart. I almost always knew how to put it back together. Move forward about fifteen years and I was a carpenter's apprentice during my summer years in high school and in college. I moved around, built a few houses, remodeled a little but still hadn't quite found the right fit. After I married and had a daughter, I knew I needed to get away from the nomadic lifestyle. My wife helped make that decision clear.

Now we arrive at Twisted Silver Customs.

I can take my love for all things vintage and my skill set and put them to work for you. It's me, a shop and a handful of guys that I trust, making your dream closer than you realize. I don't do this for the money, It truly is a passion of mine.
