The Sherley trailer has become an exercise in modesty. Our concern with replicating the factorys work has actually been kind of cool. While most would look to leave it behind and go modern, I hope this trailer will be a testiment to the era it came from. Simple,Solid and Welcoming. 10/31/08

Our current attention has been focused on drying the trailer in. We obviously had some leaks to deal with, and need to get those under control so we don't end up with rotten floors again. We are in the process of checking each and every window and vent.5/23/08

We removed the rotted floor only to find....bad metal. Anyone surprised? Mrs. Sherley immediately approved the go ahead for removing the bad sections of framework and going in with solid metal. This new section will be coated to prevent excessive rusting. Now we will resume with the marine-grade plywood flooring. I know this may sound discouraging to some, but this will last them a long time. 05/05/08

Some cabinets built in place, to mock the exististing set up. We will be covering them in oak panel, just the way it came from the factory.

Kitchen will be outfitted with a few extras. Stay tuned.

We had to rebuild most of the section due to age and moisture damage. All were built as exact replicas. Keeping it looking original was priority in the woodwork.
